AquaDark Waterproof Blackout shades deliver certified 100% light blockage in a material that is completely impervious to water, steam, and salt air. The fabric is a marine‑grade PVC sheet, extruded with a carbon‑black core that absorbs 100% of visible light. Unlike laminated blackout fabrics that can delaminate in high humidity, AquaDark’s blackout performance is inherent to the material and will never degrade. The surface is available in smooth matte or subtle linen‑embossed texture, in six colors (White, Ivory, Light Grey, Dark Grey, Beige, Black). These shades can be installed in the wettest environments: directly above a soaking tub, behind a vessel sink, in an outdoor kitchen pavilion, or on a boat. AquaDark achieves blackout performance through a 2.5% carbon‑black loading—one of the most effective light‑absorbing pigments available.
