The VersaVinyl Collection showcases the breadth of what vinyl can do, from translucent sheers that softly diffuse light to room‑darkening shades that provide substantial privacy to total blackout for complete darkness. Unlike fabric shades, vinyl shades are completely waterproof and can be installed in bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor spaces. They are also inherently fade‑resistant and will not yellow, even after years of direct sun exposure. Surface options include smooth matte, linen‑embossed, and basketweave‑embossed, giving you design flexibility that belies the material’s utilitarian reputation. All shades are custom‑fabricated to your exact window dimensions and available with cordless, continuous cord loop, or motorized operation. Vinyl has never looked this good.

Embossed Textures Available

VersaVinyl is designed to rise far above the “plain vinyl” stereotype. Three embossed finishes add tactile richness and visual depth:

  • Linen — a subtle, irregular slub that mimics natural linen

  • Basketweave — a classic crisscross pattern with dimensional interest

  • Leathergrain — a refined pebble texture that feels sophisticated and offers an easy‑grip surface

These textures are pressed into the vinyl during the calendaring process, so they will not wear off. All finishes are available across every opacity level.

Chemical & Oil Resistant

VersaVinyl stands up to diluted acids, alkalis, and petroleum‑based oils. Brake fluid, cooking oil, cleaning solvents—most spills wipe away immediately without staining or softening the material. This makes the collection a strong fit for labs, automotive spaces, commercial kitchens, and other environments where harsh substances are part of daily life.

UL Certified Fire Retardant

Every VersaVinyl shade meets the UL 94 V‑0 vertical burn rating, self‑extinguishing within 10 seconds of flame removal. It also complies with California TB 117‑2013 and NFPA 701. Fire performance is built into the vinyl formulation itself, and certification documents are available for all commercial orders.

Multiple Opacities

VersaVinyl offers a full range of light‑control options, all with the same surface finish and color palette:

  • Translucent — 20% transmission; soft, frosted glow

  • Light‑Filtering — 10% transmission; daytime privacy with view‑through

  • Room‑Darkening — 5% transmission; strong privacy and glare reduction

  • Blackout — <0.1% transmission; complete darkness

Because the textures and colors remain consistent, you can mix opacities within a project without visual mismatch.

Recyclable Material

VersaVinyl is 100% recyclable. At end of life, shades can be returned to our recycling program, where hardware is removed and the vinyl is re‑ground for use in non‑consumer products. This closed‑loop approach reduces landfill waste and supports sustainability initiatives, including documentation for LEED MR credits.

Colorfast Warranty

Some vinyls yellow or fade due to plasticizer migration or UV exposure. VersaVinyl avoids this with phthalate‑free, UV‑stabilized compounds. We warranty the color for 10 years—white stays crisp, black stays deep, and all hues remain true.
