100% Waterproof Construction

PVC shades are made from solid, non‑porous vinyl sheet. With no fibers to absorb moisture, the material is completely waterproof. Steam, splashes, and direct water exposure have no effect on the shade—it will not sag, water‑spot, or mildew. This is the only shade material suitable for installation directly above soaking tubs, behind vessel sinks, or inside steam‑shower vestibules.

Mold & Mildew Resistant

PVC is naturally resistant to mold and mildew. Our PVC shades also include an antimicrobial additive for enhanced protection. Even in continuously steamy environments, the shades resist staining, odors, and degradation. They are bleach‑cleanable, making them ideal for healthcare, hospitality, and food‑service applications.

Available Across Three Shade Styles

PVC Roller Shades — Smooth matte or embossed textures (linen, basketweave, leathergrain); light‑filtering, room‑darkening, and blackout
PVC Zebra Shades — Precision‑printed zebra pattern with micro‑perforated sheer bands; 3" bands; light‑filtering, room‑darkening, and blackout

Embossed Textures Available

To elevate PVC beyond its “shower curtain” reputation, we offer three embossed finishes:

Linen — Subtle slub texture that mimics natural linen
Basketweave — Classic crisscross pattern for added dimension
Leathergrain — Fine pebble texture with a sophisticated, easy‑grip surface

These textures are permanently embossed during calendaring and will not wear off.

6 Standard Colors

PVC shades are available in six UV‑stabilized colors: Arctic White, Ivory, Light Grey, Greige, Taupe, Black. They will not yellow or fade. Custom colors are available for large‑volume orders (minimum 500 yards).

Chemical & Oil Resistant

PVC resists a wide range of chemicals, including diluted acids, alkalis, and petroleum oils. This makes PVC shades suitable for laboratories, automotive garages, and commercial kitchens. Splashes of brake fluid, cooking oil, or cleaning solvents can be wiped away without staining or softening the material.

UL Certified Fire Retardant

All PVC shades meet the UL 94 V‑0 flammability rating, self‑extinguishing within 10 seconds of flame removal—the highest vertical burn rating for plastics. They also comply with California Technical Bulletin 117‑2013 and NFPA 701. Certification documentation is available for commercial orders.

Cordless Wand Tilt Recommended

For wet areas, we recommend cordless wand tilt. The wand attaches magnetically and can be removed and stored out of reach. No cords, loops, or chains to corrode. Motorized operation is also available.
