Hydrophobic Fabric Finish
Moisture Resistant fabrics use a permanent hydrophobic finish applied during the dyeing process. Water beads on the surface with a contact angle greater than 100° and rolls off cleanly. Steam condenses into droplets that evaporate quickly. The fabric will not absorb moisture, sag, or develop water spots. The finish is durable and long‑lasting, though it may gradually diminish over many years.
Antimicrobial Protection
An antimicrobial additive is embedded directly into the polyester fibers, inhibiting mold, mildew, and bacterial growth on the shade surface. This is essential in high‑humidity environments where microbial buildup can cause staining and odors. The treatment is permanent and never requires reapplication.

Cordless Wand Tilt Recommended
For wet areas, we recommend cordless wand tilt. The wand attaches magnetically to the bottom rail and can be removed and stored out of reach. No cords, loops, or chains to tangle or corrode. Motorized operation is also available for maximum convenience and safety.

Easy‑Clean Surface
The hydrophobic finish also makes these fabrics easy to clean. Toothpaste splatter, soap residue, and hard‑water spots wipe away with a damp cloth. For stubborn marks, spot clean with mild soap and water. Do not machine wash.
5‑Year Moisture Resistance Warranty
We warrant that our moisture‑resistant fabrics will remain free from water‑related damage—sagging, water spots, mildew—for 5 years from the date of manufacture. This warranty covers the fabric only and excludes physical damage.
