Cloud Grey Collection
Balanced Undertones: Cool vs. Warm
Grey is notoriously tricky because undertones can shift dramatically depending on lighting and surrounding materials. Cloud Grey solves this with two clearly defined families:
-
Cloud Cool: a true grey with gentle blue undertones—crisp, modern, and clean. Works beautifully with chrome, white trim, and black accents.
-
Cloud Warm: a greige with soft taupe undertones—inviting and organic. Complements unlacquered brass, oak, and natural linens.
Each family includes multiple depths, from nearly white (Cloud Light) to a versatile mid‑tone (Cloud Medium). While you can mix cool and warm within a project, choosing one family creates the most cohesive palette.
Brightness Without Harshness
White shades can reflect up to 85% of incoming light, which often results in glare—especially in south‑facing rooms. Light grey tones have a lower light reflectance value (LRV 50–60), softening brightness while still keeping the space open and airy. This makes Cloud Grey a favorite for home offices, where you need illumination without screen reflections.
Hides Lint & Light Dust
White fabrics reveal every speck of lint and dust almost immediately. Light grey is far more forgiving, naturally disguising the fine particulates that settle on window coverings. It’s a practical advantage for allergy‑prone households that dust frequently and for busy homes that don’t. When cleaning is needed, the fabric can be vacuumed with a brush attachment or wiped with a damp cloth.
Coordinated Blackout & Light Filtering
Cloud Grey spans our entire fabric library—smooth polyester, linen‑texture, jacquard, and even waterproof PVC. Each material is offered in the same Cloud Grey color codes, allowing you to mix textures and opacities within a single room while maintaining perfect color consistency. For example, use Cloud Cool Blackout in the bedroom and Cloud Cool Light‑Filtering in the adjoining sitting area for seamless visual flow.
