Doris Textured Weave Series

Inspired by heritage damask textiles, the Doris Series translates classic woven patterns into a clean, contemporary roller shade. The fabric’s surface is not printed—it is woven on a jacquard loom, creating a dimensional interplay of matte and semi‑lustrous yarns that shift as light moves across the room. From a distance, the fabric reads as a soft, tonal neutral; up close, the delicate geometric motif reveals itself, adding quiet sophistication without overwhelming the space. Doris is offered in five signature colors: Oyster (warm white), Flax (pale oatmeal), Pebble (light greige), Dove (soft grey), and Fog (cool grey). Available in light‑filtering (60% block), room‑darkening (80% block), and blackout (100% block) constructions. Custom‑made to your exact measurements, with your choice of lift system. For living rooms, primary bedrooms, and studies where texture is the statement.

Jacquard Surface Interest

Most roller shades are flat—either smooth or uniformly textured. Doris breaks this convention with an integrated jacquard pattern woven directly into the fabric. The pattern is not printed, so it never fades, peels, or washes out. It is created by alternating the weave density: raised satin floats catch light; recessed matte areas absorb it. This produces a subtle “watermark” effect that adds visual depth while remaining completely tonal. The pattern repeats every 12 inches, scaled appropriately for residential windows.

Five Signature Neutrals

The Doris palette was curated to complement the most popular interior design styles.

  • Oyster: warm white with a hint of cream—ideal for traditional and coastal spaces.

  • Flax: light beige with golden undertones—pairs with natural wood and rattan.

  • Pebble: balanced greige—the ultimate versatile neutral.

  • Dove: soft grey with no blue or green cast—serene and modern.

  • Fog: deeper grey with a touch of charcoal—adds contrast without drama.

All colors are solution‑dyed and meet Class 4 (superior) lightfastness standards.

Coordinated Opacities

The jacquard pattern is visible across all fabric densities, from airy sheers to total blackout. In light‑filtering versions, the pattern appears subtle—a whisper of texture. In blackout, the pattern becomes more pronounced as the fabric density increases. This allows you to specify Doris throughout an entire floor plan, with the pattern providing continuity while opacity varies by room function.

Soft, Luminous Finish

Unlike printed textures that can look flat or plasticky, Doris’s woven surface has a soft hand and a natural luster. The face yarns are semi‑dull polyester, reflecting about 15% of incident light—enough to create a gentle glow without glare. This makes Doris especially effective in rooms with southern exposure, where the fabric brightens beautifully without washing out.
