A DayNight dual-shade system is only as beautiful as its color coordination. The DayNight Color Collection takes the guesswork out of pairing sheer and blackout panels, offering pre-selected, perfectly matched combinations that ensure visual harmony. For each of our 12 core colors, we have formulated a sheer fabric and a blackout fabric that are dye-lot matched and opacity-optimized. The sheer panel appears slightly lighter—as it should—but the color family is identical. When both panels are lowered, the sheer panel provides a soft, luminous overlay; the blackout panel remains discreetly hidden behind. This collection includes both tonal combinations (sheer and blackout in the same color) and contrast combinations (sheer in a light color, blackout in a darker shade of the same family). Available in ¾-inch and 1⅛-inch single-cell constructions, with cordless, continuous cord loop, or motorized operation. Custom‑sized to your exact window dimensions. Perfect pairs, perfectly simple.

Tonal Combinations (Same Color)

For a seamless, unified look, choose a tonal combination where the sheer and blackout panels share the same color name. The sheer panel appears slightly lighter and more luminous due to its translucence, but the underlying hue is identical. This is the most popular option for minimalist and contemporary interiors. Available in all 12 DayNight colors.

Contrast Combinations (Coordinated Shades)

For a more dynamic aesthetic, select a contrast combination where the sheer panel is a lighter shade and the blackout panel is a deeper tone from the same color family. Examples include:

Each DayNight Color Collection pairing uses sheer and blackout fabrics dyed together in the same dye lot to ensure flawless color consistency. We reserve dye‑lot inventory specifically for these combinations, eliminating the risk of off‑tolerance variation between panels.
