Unlike standard pull cords that can tangle or break under load, our SureGlide system uses a geared drive and a continuous nylon loop. Pulling down on one side of the loop lowers the shade; pulling the other side raises it. The shade stays precisely where you stop it, with no drifting. The loop is fitted with a breakaway tassel that separates under tension, eliminating strangulation hazards—a critical safety feature for homes with children and pets. Expansive windows often exceed the practical limits of cordless spring systems. Continuous cord loop delivers consistent lift force regardless of width, making it the preferred solution for sliding doors, great rooms, bay windows, and commercial storefronts. The loop hangs neatly to one side and can be secured with a wall‑mounted cleat for tidy, predictable operation.

Child Safety First

Safety is built into the system. The SureGlide loop includes a breakaway tassel that meets all CPSC requirements. If tension exceeds 5 pounds—such as if a child becomes entangled—the tassel separates instantly, releasing the loop and eliminating the hazard. It snaps back together easily afterward. For nurseries, schools, and daycare environments, an optional tension device mounts to the wall or sill to keep the loop taut and out of reach.
