BL20 Heathered Zebra Shades
Melange Color Blends
BL20 heathered fabric is created the same way high‑end wool suiting is made: by mixing fibers of different colors before the yarn is spun. This intimate blend produces a true melange effect—color variation that runs through the entire yarn, not printed or surface‑applied. There is no coating to wear off, no pattern that can fade. What you see is the color of the fiber itself.
Dust‑Concealing Pattern
Solid‑color shades—especially darker ones—tend to highlight every speck of lint and dust. Heathered fabrics break up the visual field, making everyday particulates far less noticeable. This is a practical advantage for:
-
Homes with shedding pets
-
Residences near busy roads
-
Anyone who prefers to clean less often
The heathered pattern keeps shades looking fresh between cleanings.

Available in All Opacities
BL20 heathered fabric is offered in light‑filtering, room‑darkening, and blackout constructions. The heathered effect is most pronounced in light‑filtering fabrics, and remains visible—though slightly softened—in the darker opacities.
UV & Fade Resistance
All BL20 fibers are solution‑dyed with UV stabilizers integrated directly into the polymer. This locks color inside the fiber, preventing fading even in intense sunlight. BL20 fabrics are rated Class 5 (excellent) for lightfastness and are warrantied against significant fading for 10 years.
Coordinated Solids Available
For designers who want to mix textures within a space, we offer coordinating solid fabrics that match the dominant tones of each heathered blend. Use heathered fabrics on large picture windows—where dust concealment is especially valuable—and solids on smaller openings for a balanced, cohesive look.
