Arctic White Waterproof
Titanium Dioxide Protection
Arctic White PVC is engineered for brightness and long‑term stability. With an 8% titanium dioxide (TiO₂) loading—far higher than standard white vinyl—it maintains a crisp, brilliant white even under intense UV exposure. TiO₂ is exceptionally stable, so it resists yellowing and also reflects UV radiation, helping protect surrounding window frames from sun‑related degradation.
Bright White, Warm White Options
Two carefully tuned whites allow you to match any interior style:
-
Cool White — a clean, modern white with a subtle blue undertone; ideal for cool‑grey trims. LRV 85.
-
Warm White — a soft, creamy white with gentle warmth; perfect for traditional or beige‑toned trims. LRV 82.
Both tones remain consistent across all opacity levels. The translucent version appears slightly brighter when backlit.
Easy Wipe Surface
Arctic White PVC has a smooth, non‑porous surface that makes cleaning effortless. Hard water spots, soap residue, and toothpaste marks wipe away with mild detergent and a damp cloth. For mineral buildup, a simple 50/50 vinegar‑water solution works well. The matte finish helps disguise water spots between cleanings.
Coordinated White Hardware
To maintain a seamless, all‑white aesthetic, every hardware component is available in matching finishes—brackets, cassettes, valances, and bottom bars. Standard hardware is white powder‑coated, while premium options include white satin and white gloss. Even the continuous cord loop is available in white nylon, ensuring the entire system blends cleanly with the shade.
Blackout White Option
White blackout fabrics are notoriously difficult to perfect, but Arctic White achieves true 100% blackout with a triple‑layer construction that hides the black core behind a thick, TiO₂‑rich white face. The result is a blackout shade that stays bright white rather than drifting toward grey. It’s our most popular white blackout option for good reason.
Ideal for Coastal & Humid Climates
Beach‑house whites often fall victim to rust stains or yellowing from salt air. Arctic White avoids both issues: the PVC is fully inert to salt, and optional 316 stainless steel hardware prevents corrosion. For extreme sun exposure, a marine‑grade white formulation with enhanced UV stabilizers is also available.
