SP1000 Unlimited Custom Color Sheer Shades
Unlimited Custom Color Matching
SP1000 allows you to match any color, including:
-
Pantone Matching System (PMS)
-
Sherwin‑Williams, Benjamin Moore, Farrow & Ball paint colors
-
Fabric swatches (upholstery, drapery, bedding)
-
Wallpaper samples
-
Digital references (RGB, CMYK, HEX)
Our colorists use spectrophotometric analysis to formulate exact dye recipes. We guarantee a Delta‑E variance under 1.0 (imperceptible to the human eye) on 95% of colors.
Minimum Order Requirements
Because custom dyeing requires specialized setup, SP1000 has a minimum order of 50 yards per color—typically enough for 15–25 standard windows, depending on size. Smaller quantities may be possible with a surcharge. Contact our commercial sales team for a project‑specific quote.
Professional Specification Only
SP1000 is designed for trade professionals—interior designers, architects, specifiers, and facility managers. Our trade support team guides you through the color‑matching process, provides dye‑lab samples for approval, and coordinates production scheduling. This service is not available for direct‑to‑consumer orders.
Dye‑Lab Sample Approval
Before production begins, we create a dye‑lab sample of your custom color on the exact fabric substrate. This 8" × 10" sample is shipped for your approval. You may request up to two rounds of adjustments before final sign‑off. Approved samples are archived for future reorders.
Same Substrate, All Components
Custom colors can be applied to:
-
Opaque vanes (standard, room‑darkening, blackout)
-
Sheer panels (3% openness)
-
Fabric‑wrapped valances and cassettes
-
Continuous fabric panel sheers (no vanes)
All components from the same dye lot are perfectly matched.
Future Reorders
Once a custom color is formulated, we archive the dye recipe and spectrophotometric data. Future reorders can be placed without repeating the matching process. However, as with all textiles, dye‑lot variation is possible; we recommend ordering full project yardage at once.
Lead Time & Pricing
SP1000 custom‑color shades require 8–10 weeks from dye‑lot approval to shipment. Pricing is approximately 40–60% higher than comparable S900 shades, reflecting the cost of custom dyeing and small‑batch production. Contact our commercial sales team for a detailed quote.
