Precision Band Alignment

SmartDrive motors deliver 1‑degree incremental band positioning, giving you granular control over light and privacy. Program presets for different times of day—fully aligned (≈80% light) for morning brightness, partially staggered (≈50% light) for afternoon glare control, fully staggered (≈95% light block) for evening privacy. The motor stores your preferences and can activate them by schedule, sunrise/sunset, or voice command.

Battery or Hardwired: You Decide

Battery motors are ideal for retrofits. The battery pack is concealed inside the headrail, and a single charge lasts 3–5 years with typical use (about two cycles per day). Rechargeable lithium‑ion packs are included, and low‑battery alerts appear in the app. Hardwired motors connect to low‑voltage transformers—either plug‑in or in‑wall—and provide unlimited runtime with zero maintenance. They’re recommended for new construction or shades that will be operated frequently.

SmartDrive motors natively support multiple ecosystems:

Sunrise/Sunset Automation

Using your home’s GPS coordinates, the app can automatically align bands at sunrise and stagger them at sunset. This enhances comfort and improves energy efficiency—staggered bands during hot summer afternoons reduce cooling load and glare.

Scene Creation

Coordinate multiple shades and smart devices with customizable scenes:

  • “Morning” — Align bands, raise to 50%

  • “Movie Time” — Stagger bands, fully lower, dim lights

  • “Away” — Randomize band alignment and lift positions for lived‑in security

Scenes can be triggered by voice, app, schedule, or sensors.

Quiet Operation

SmartDrive motors are engineered for acoustic comfort, operating below 35 dBA at 3 feet—quieter than a library. The intentionally slow motor speed eliminates abrupt movement and ensures smooth, graceful transitions.

Retrofit Kits Available
