Belgian Linen Look Collection
Authentic Slub & Slub Variation
Linen’s beauty comes from its irregularities—the thick and thin slubs that give it character. Our polyester interpretation recreates this organically using an air‑texturizing process that loops and entangles filaments at random intervals. The result is a fabric with true slub variation, not a printed imitation. From a few feet away, it’s virtually indistinguishable from mid‑weight Belgian linen; up close, it feels smoother, more uniform in color, and free of flax’s natural scratchiness.
Stain‑Release Finish
Real linen absorbs spills instantly, often permanently. Our Linen Look fabric is protected with a fluorocarbon‑free stain‑release treatment that buys you time. Coffee, red wine, olive oil—these liquids bead on the surface instead of soaking in. A quick blot with a paper towel removes most of the spill, and any remaining residue lifts easily with mild soap. This makes linen‑look shades practical in dining rooms, kitchens, and family spaces where real linen would be too delicate.
No Ironing, No Wrinkles
Natural linen wrinkles at the slightest touch. Our polyester version has wrinkle‑resistant memory, so it unrolls smooth and flat within minutes, even after long periods stored on the tube. Creases from shipping relax naturally with ambient warmth. For deeper folds—like those caused by accidental bending—a brief pass of a handheld steamer (held slightly away from the fabric) releases the fibers instantly. No ironing, no fuss.
Fade‑Proof Color
Linen is notoriously vulnerable to UV exposure, yellowing or bleaching within months. Our solution‑dyed polyester is rated Class 5 (excellent) lightfastness, the highest standard. After 1,000 hours of accelerated UV testing, color shift is virtually undetectable. This makes the Belgian Linen Look Collection ideal for sunrooms, coastal homes, and any window with intense southern exposure.
Expanded Color Palette
While natural linen is limited to off‑whites and ecru, our collection spans 12 designer‑curated colors:
Neutrals: Oatmeal, Pebble, Linen White, Flax, Mushroom Greys: Silver, Dove, Charcoal Blues: Stonewashed Blue, Slate, Sky Greens: Sage, Eucalyptus
Because the slubs are woven—not printed—they remain visible and authentic in every hue.
