How to Measure for No Drill Cellular Shades
Let’s make sure No Drill Cellular Shades will work for your window!
No Drill Cellular Shades are designed for inside mount installation only. Using a metal tape measure, first check the usable depth inside your window opening.
Depth is measured from the window glass or back of the opening to the front edge of the window frame where the No Drill headrail will sit.
Required Window Depth: Your window must have more than 2" of usable depth to install No Drill Cellular Shades.
Make sure the mounting area is flat and unobstructed so the No Drill headrail can sit securely inside the window opening.

How to Measure:
Let’s start with the Width:
- Measure the inside width of the window opening from left to right to the nearest 1/8" at three places: top, middle, and bottom.
- Write down all three measurements and use the narrowest measurement as your ordering width.
- If rounding is necessary, round down to the nearest 1/8".
Now, let’s do the Height:
- Measure the inside height of the window opening from top to bottom to the nearest 1/8" at three places: left, middle, and right.
- Write down all three measurements and use the tallest measurement as your ordering height.
